Analytics and Reports

Insights can involve analysis at multiple levels in line with the objectives of the study. Starting from insights drawn from the behavior of specific variables, relationships between variables to more complex techniques used to derive insights from the structure of the data, we assist our clients in all phases of the insight generation process.

HBG’s analytics and consumer insights team have experience in analyzing data using a variety of statistical techniques to derive meaningful insights beyond what would be apparent from a review of the data tabulation output of frequencies by banner-tabs.

At HBG, analytics is simply the act of deriving meaningful insights from data through a robust and validated study of relationships between variables.

We never force-fit statistical models unless the data will allow it and we ensure that the analysis yields results that are robust and actionable. Our competencies extend from basic univariate analysis and tests of significance to more complex multivariate techniques.

Some of the techniques that we utilize regularly
  • EXPLORATORY DATA ANALYSIS

    HYPOTHESIS TESTING

    CORRELATIONS & REGRESSION

  • CHOICE BASED CONJOINT

    MAXDIFF ANALYSIS

    CLUSTER OR SEGMENTATION ANALYSIS

  • ADVANCED MULTIPLE REGRESSION ANALYSIS

    STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODELING

While it is crucial to apply the right technique to ensure robust and actionable insights, it is mandatory to present the results that are easy to read and comprehend.

HBG’s data visualization team ensures simple and accurate presentation of results while using traditional tools such as PowerPoint or Excel or custom dashboards created using ASP.NET or advance tools like Tableau.

Online dashboards created using ASP.Net and Tableau can be hosted on our servers with separate log-ins for different categories of client users.Data from multiple time-periods can be uploaded to automatically compute metrics and compare them visually over different time periods.
